It seems that Adobe caught some people off-guard by releasing their beta test version to the public for free download a few months early. You have to register to download it, but you can get it from the adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/family.html. Some of the new features in CS3: - the addition of "Smart Filter", which allows you to order your filters on a per Layer basis and apply masks to them as if they were Layers - a new Black and White converter tool that retains your settings and effectively replaces the more difficult Channel Mixer method of converting colour to B&W - a new Cloning palette - improved RAW conversion (camera raw) - improved Adobe Bridge (photo management system) - a new refine edges tool to aid in making selections
