I pose the question to you, the forum user:  which photographer(s) have influenced you?   I'm curious to know how your love of photography started, and what influenced you to take portraits, photograph food, or take landscape shots.  Everyone has their specialty - what's yours?

For me, seeing the Posters of Ansel Adams photos that my older brother brought home really inspired me to get interested in landscape photography.  I was in grade school then, and hadn't seen many large photographs like that.  Every time I looked at the black and white photos, something else would jump out at me.  The majesty of his photos struck me as akin to old paintings.

When I was in University, and visited the travelling Imaginus Poster sales, the landscape photography of David Noton grabbed my attention.  His photos were very simple, clean, colourful, and dramatic.  They were photos I could gaze at for hours, and they inspired me to travel.  They also relaxed me, and brought nature to me in the midst of my University stress and studying.

I dont think its as simple as saying "this man was the most influential" or "that man was..." because, everyone was affected in someway. They were affected by past powers, past leaders, and those around them.
